Please play ready golf. No practice putts after the hole. If a group falls behind more than a hole, a warring will be issued. If a group falls behind a full hole they will be moved forward and assessed a double bogey penalty.

A team consists of two to six players in the same group. On each hole each player drives and the best tee shot is selected by the team. Each member then plays a second shot from the spot where the selected tee shot lay and the best second shot is then selected in a similar manner. This process is repeated until the hole is completed. The preferred method of pairing for such an event is to balance each team with a composition of players with similar handicaps. Scoring is based on one ball gross score for that team less handicaps if applicable. The Scramble is the most popular format for group tournaments because it encourages teamwork. Foursomes are constructed so as to compose an A player, a B player, a C player, and a D player. In putting together the teams, the tournament organizer needs to know the golfing ability of the participants; it may be necessary to ask the golfers for their handicaps. Certainly, an attendee who has never golfed would be categorized as a D. In a scramble, each team member tees off, but the team plays its second shots from where the best drive landed. Play continues in this fashion through putting. A scramble helps develop camaraderie among the players, eliminates embarrassment over poor shots, and allows everyone to make a contribution.
Variations include minimum number of drives or total contributions required of each player, players of different abilities teeing off from different tees (D player forward, C middle B, A back). Walk a way scramble- the player who shot is used cant participate in the next shot, and Texas Scramble- all players tee off and select the best shot and all hit from that location and each player then plays their own ball out for the best score or two scores for their team score.
Best Ball of Four (First and Second Balls of Four)
Stroke Play - all players in the group hit/ play their own ball throughout the competition, 18 holes for an individual score. Record scores for each hole and a total individual score
There are three prize areas, individual net, gross and team best ball net. Each player receives their maximum number of strokes as determined by their handicap. Stroke holes are indicated on the card with a dot. A player who gets a stroke on a par 5 and scores a 5 will receive a net 4. For the team score, the first hole you will use one score, hole 2 = 2 scores, hole 3 = 3 scores and continuing in that order. Total your 1-2-3 score for each hole and record a total round score.
All groups play from the WHITE TEES. Women may play from the women's tees.

Eagle 5 8 11 14
Birdie 2 5 8 11
Par 0 2 5 8
Bogey -1 0 2 5
Double bogey -3 -1 0 2
Triple bogey -3 -3 -1 0
Others -3 -3 -3 -1
