10th Annual NIRSA Foundation Golf Tournament
10th Annual NIRSA Foundation Golf Tournament in conjunction with the 2004 NIRSA Annual Conference & Recreational Sports Exposition. Since 1994, tournament proceeds benefiting the NIRSA Foundation have reached nearly $45,000. The main goals of the tournament are to have fun, meet new people, and support the NIRSA Foundation while enjoying a terrific day of golf at The University of New Mexico Championship Golf Course in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The tournament is a great way to interact with NIRSA professionals, students, and exhibitors. The tournament utilized a four-person scramble format. The CGA is a main sponsor of the tournament.

Whittier College Purple & Gold Golf Tournament
Purple & Gold is the primary support group for men�s and women�s athletics at Whittier College. P&G provides extra funds for special athletic needs such as travel expenses for out-of-state tournaments, training equipment, facility improvements, shoes, and other items to enhance our men�s and women�s athletic programs. Annual contributions go to help support all 21 intercollegiate sports, involving nearly one-third of the men and women who are students at the College. In addition to fundraising, P&G is also active in the lives of Poet student-athletes in sponsoring events the entire Whittier College community such as the fall and spring sports barbecues, the P&G Men�s and Women�s Basketball Tournament and an annual All Sports Awards banquet, and Hall of Fame dinner. Everyone is welcome to join.
